EFCO Limited is a well established furnace manufacturer founded in 1928.

In the years that followed, EFCO became a world leader in furnace technology and a name synonymous with reliability.

Today, it offers a total approach to every furnace requirement: design, manufacture, installation and after sales service, serving the glass and metallurgical industries.

EFCO has been particularly successful in the design and construction of electrically heated float bath roofs for float glass production lines. We were privileged to have the opportunity of working with Pilkington on the development of this electrically heated system, now universally known as the 'EFCO Roof.'

Not only were we the first but our innovative and unrivalled track record over the years has earned us a reputation of excellence and kept us ahead of the field. We are rightfully acknowledged as the world's number one.

Worldwide, EFCO has supplied in excess of 170 float roofs, designed specifically for each customer's need, and we are proud to announce to the world that EFCO roofs have stood the test of time.

Our early roofs have now operated trouble free in excess of 30 years and are still going. This is proof that EFCO roofs are built to last.
